Working With DeCoded

Custom Fabrication and Installation, Across Every Material

DeCoded International Group fabricates and installs custom stone, metal, leather, and woodwork for designers, architects, and developers working at the top of the market. Every project is produced in-house across our studios in Miami, London, and Warsaw, and delivered under a single installation team.

This is the catalog of what we build.

Stone

From honed marble wall cladding to precision-cut travertine flooring, our stone work is fabricated to architectural tolerance. We work with natural and engineered stone across residential, hospitality, and commercial applications, handling everything from template to final installation.

Typical applications: feature walls, reception counters, flooring systems, fireplace surrounds, exterior cladding, and monolithic vanity tops.

We source from quarries across Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Brazil, and maintain established relationships that give our collaborators access to material that rarely reaches the open market.

Metal

Our metalwork ranges from brushed stainless-steel millwork trims to custom blackened-steel architectural frames and hand-fabricated bronze fixtures. We work across ferrous and non-ferrous metals, with finishing capabilities that include brushing, patina, powder coating, and PVD.

Typical applications: door and window frames, stair stringers and balustrades, decorative panels, bar fronts, reception desks, and integrated structural elements within millwork systems.

Metal at DeCoded is never decorative in isolation. It is designed and fabricated to withstand the other materials in the room.

Wood and Millwork

Our millwork capability covers the full scope of architectural woodwork, from floor-to-ceiling paneling systems to freestanding cabinetry, integrated storage, and custom furniture. We work with European and American hardwoods, veneers, and lacquered finishes, with joinery executed to the tolerances demanded by high-specification interiors.

Typical applications: wall paneling, bespoke kitchens, walk-in wardrobe systems, library walls, reception millwork, hotel room case goods, and architectural doors.

Book-matched veneers, hand-applied lacquers, and integrated lighting are standard parts of our vocabulary, not upgrades.

Leather and Upholstery

Hand-stitched leather wall panels, upholstered headboard systems, and custom seating are fabricated by our upholstery team to the same tolerances as our hard material work. We work with full-grain and semi-aniline leathers, performance fabrics, and COM materials supplied by the designer.

Typical applications: leather wall cladding, upholstered bed frames and headboards, banquette seating, reception seating, and decorative panel inserts within millwork systems.

Leather at DeCoded is frequently specified as part of a larger wall system, integrated with stone, metal, or wood within a single fabricated assembly.

Multi-Trade Assemblies

The work that defines DeCoded International Group is the work that requires more than one trade to execute. A reception wall that combines book-matched marble, a backlit bronze frame, and hand-stitched leather panels is not three separate scopes. It is one fabrication brief, one installation team, and one firm responsible for how the materials meet.

This is where single-point accountability changes the outcome of a project.

Working With DeCoded: Common Questions

Does DeCoded provide shop drawings before fabrication begins?

Yes. DeCoded’s in-house drafting team produces detailed fabrication shop drawings for virtually every project. These are submitted to the designer or architect for review and approval before fabrication begins. Nothing goes into production until the drawings are signed off.

Yes, and this is the core of what the firm does. A wall assembly combining precision-cut stone, a blackened steel frame, and hand-stitched leather panels is a single fabrication brief with one team responsible for how every material meets every other. Multi-trade assemblies are not an exception at DeCoded. They are the standard.

DeCoded fabricates to architectural tolerance across all materials. Metal finishing includes brushing, patination, powder coating, and PVD. Stone surfaces include honed, polished, leathered, and sandblasted finishes. Millwork finishes include hand-applied lacquers, stains, and specialty coatings. Every finish is produced to the specification established in the approved shop drawings.

DeCoded sources materials directly through established supplier relationships across Italy, Portugal, Spain, Brazil, and other markets. This gives collaborators access to stone, metal, leather, and wood that rarely reach the open market through standard supply channels.

DeCoded handles material sourcing for the large majority of projects. In cases where a designer or architect has specified a particular slab, veneer, or material, DeCoded can discuss accommodation on a project-by-project basis.

Residential estates, flagship hospitality environments, luxury retail, and large-scale commercial developments. The firm has active projects across Florida, New York, and Illinois, and works internationally where projects require.

Yes, always. Fabrication and installation are never separated. The same firm that produces the work installs it. This is what makes single-point accountability possible and what eliminates the coordination failures that occur when fabrication and installation are handled by different vendors.
